 The time of the discovery of the rain cycle is unknown. However, Bernie Palissy in the 16th century is given credit for compiling and documenting it.

Properties of the Earth

1. The Earth is a circle (Isaiah 40:22)

 Written in the 8th century BC, centuries before Aristotle proved that the world was spherical

2. Wind has weight (Job 28:25)

 Weight of the wind is atmospheric pressure.  It was discovered by Evangelista_Torricelli and the barometer was invented in 1643.

3. There are "paths" in the Seas (Psalms 8:8)

 Nicknamed "Pathfinder of the Seas" US Naval Officer Matthew Maury discovered the "paths of the Sea" after reading this verse in Psalms 8:8

Other Properties of Science

1. Handling dead bodies is unhealthy (Num. 19:11)

 First recorded race to wash after touching a dead body. They didn't know why, but they were following God's instructions.

2. Touch a dead body requires washing under running water (Lev. 15:13)

 Today the technique of washing hands by doctors includes using running water.

3. Burying excrement away from camp (Deuteronomy 23:12-13)

 Now common camping knowledge, the Bible is once again in the forefront of science.

4. All things are made from invisible things (Romans 1:20)

 Science has theories like the Loop Quantum Gravity, the Hartle-Hawking no boundary state, various models of string theory , Chaotic inflation and others. The Bible tells us that it was started "by things unseen". Here we wait until science catches up with Scripture.
