How is it known that the "week" that Daniel Refers to is 2520 days?

The Bible is the key to understanding how long is a "week". Daniel refers in Daniel 9:27 to half a week. Revelation also refers to this same time period in the following verses: Rev 13:4,5,6,7 Rev 12:13,14 and Rev 12:6. First, Revelation defines this time period as "42 months" (3 1/2 years), then it defines the time as "a time (one year), times (2 years) and half a time" for 3 1/2 years. Lastly it clarifies it by defining the time as 1260 days. If 1260 days is 1/2 of "Daniels week", a full "week" is 2520 days. If we define a week as a seven year time period than this makes 2520/7 = 360 days for a Jewish year.

Why is it so strange? It is important to note that the word that the Bible translates into the English word "week" comes from the Hebrew word "Shabua". Shabua literally means "sevens". Thus seventy weeks is more literally translated seventy "sevens". The sevens can mean days or years or any time period that is grouped into sevens.
